I was actually entirely comfortable with that argument for the first three or four years of his tenure. What's the difference between corrupt, illiberal democracy and a corrupt but non-idelogical dictatorship, anyway?

Come on man. Bring on the Islamic Republic baby. And remember--it's still a democracy if the women don't vote. Women just count as two of their husband.
