Oddly enough, it *was* Micro and I just misunderstood the first time.
The story itself still stands, though. The guy had set himself up at the back of the auditorium in a pair of sweatpants, with a column on one side and a large pile of backpack, coat, etc. on his left. The TA happened to walk behind him while he had his hand down his pants, furtively rubbing away. She stopped when she heard something and suspected that he was cheating or something... and then he immediately stopped moving as well. Then she realized what was happening, got confused as well as disgusted, and kept moving.
