The wily little Spaniard just blew two match points. I am currently in the fetal position, waiting for the rain delay to end so Federer can just put him out of his misery. Goddamnit. He was THISCLOSE.

Best Grand Slam final I've seen in a long fucking time, just two guys playing at an exceptionally high level. Nadal's shotmaking was pretty impressive, and Federer was unbelievably relentless.

Federer needs to hire a fucking coach to hit him backhands over and over again. He still clearly has the best shot in the game on his forehand but his backhand was a mess today relative to the rest of his game.

With even half a backhand Federer wins this match with far less trouble.

Yeah, usually his backhand is pretty solid, but the spin Nadal puts on his shots seems to give Federer trouble on that particular side. Its much worse on the clay, though.

I'm still slack-jawed yokeling over some of those behind-the-baseline passing shots that Nadal hit...dude has unreal strength. Great, great final. I can't really think of a better one.
