Leisurely activities for the gentleman, 1891

Leisurely activities for the gentleman, 1891

1. Medicine ball toss betwixt one’s legs
2. Laying about in the Hanover Street opium house
3. Giving the wife a good thrashing
4. Viewing the newest stereopticon images of President Hayes
5. Visiting lunatic brother at Weathersby, a private madhouse
6. A good nerve tonic, then finish reading Volume III of Henry Barksdale's "Automaton America"
7. Cure wife’s deepening hysterics and melancholy. Idea: A good thrashing?
